Comprehensive driver education requires in-depth study of a multitude of topics to include a functional understanding of the rules of the road, right-of-way law, and the incompatibility of behaviors such as substance abuse, distracted driving, and aggressive driving or “road rage.” State standards require 15 year olds to complete
30 hours of study that covers these topics and more. National Driver Training Institute (NDTI) is the first school to offer state approved comprehensive driver education in both self study and traditional in-class models.

Sometimes it takes a talented instructor to shine light on a new subject. Our live instruction allows your teen to share ideas with peers and get meaningful insight from an expert in the field of driver safety. Classes are given at our Aims Community College Classrooms for only $117.00*. Locations and times listed above.

Private lessons with an on-road personal trainer are the hallmark of NDTI’s in-car instruction. One-on-on instruction reduces distraction and increases retention. Drivers who obtain a permit before age 15 1/2 must complete at least 6 hours of professional instruction. Drivers who obtain a permit after 15 1/2 may choose fewer hours in the car with a professional. Our lessons are given in 1-hour or 90 minute segments with costs as low as $60.00 per hour.
