Driver Education Permit - Requirements include:

• Be between the ages of 15 and 15 ½ years old.
• Show a completed Affidavit of Liability and Guardianship.
• Show a completed Affidavit of Completion of Driver Education Classroom Course (offered here ) within 6 months of applying for your permit.

Those who hold a driver education permit may only drive with a driver education instructor and the person who signed their Affidavit of Liability until they reach the age of 18. You must hold your driver education permit for at least 12 months and must show completion of 6 hours behind the wheel with a professional instructor (offered here) before you can apply for your driver’s license.

Driver Awareness Permit - Requirements include:

• Be between the ages of 15½ and 16 years old.
• Show a completed Affidavit of Liability and Guardianship.
• Complete a 4-hour driver awareness program (offered here) OR Show a completed Affidavit of Completion of Driver Education Classroom Course (offered here) within 6 months of applying for your permit .

Those who hold a driver awareness permit may only drive with the person who signed their Affidavit of Liability until they reach the age of 18. You must hold your driver awareness permit for at least 12 months before you can apply for your driver's license. A driver awareness permit is valid for three years from the date of issue.

Minor Instruction Permit - Requirements include:

• Be between the ages of 16 and 21 years old.
• Show a completed Affidavit of Liability and Guardianship.

Those who hold a driver instruction permit may only drive with the person who signed their Affidavit of Liability until they reach the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18 you must hold your minor instruction permit for 12 months before applying for your driver's license.

 

Behind The Wheel Training -

• 6 hours - $360 (Required for students 15 to 15½)
• 4 hours - $260
• 2 hours - $150

We offer Behind-The-Wheel training (in select areas) with one of our professional instructors. Upon enrollment, we will contact you to schedule your first meeting with your personal trainer.
